Videos can be embedded into the blog post (Upload video direct in Blogger post editor). This is the simplest way as the width of the uploaded video is only 320px which is less than the width of practically all blogs. If you upload it first to Google video (or if you want to embed it into the sidebar), you will have to resize it so that the width of the embedded video is equal or less than the width of the main column. Now when you resize the width, you must also resize the height to keep the aspect ratio constant and to keep the video undistorted. This can be done using calculations (ratio, ie., maths) or you can use the free and very good Irfanview photo editor.
