I've always been curious to see were all of you folks come from across
the globe. So now it is time to let it be known! Search around and
post two or three links to photos of your city, and we'll how many
corners of the world we can cover!
Although I hail originally from Richmond, Virginia I have now put
roots down in sunny Santa Cruz, California. Howdy from the west coast!
Hi'm I am from Malaysia. More precisely from Penang. Penang is an
island in the north western. It's beautiful island with sandy beaches.
We have sun all year round except for during raining season.

Gatsby,
I have to say... I'm so jealous! Thank you for your pics. Santa Cruz
is one of my favorite towns in California. I grew up in Northern
California and lived in SF for 5 years until I bit the bullet and made
a change to Seattle. Yep, its true... it REALLY does rain THAT much.
Anyway, thanks for sharing. It definately makes me miss home.
I'd post some pics, but I don't have any right now. Sorry. I'm new to
this whole new blogger world. I just joined yesterday! 1 whole day
old. =)

I used to work in Santa Cruz for a software company. Now I am in
wonderful central coast California, in the city of Camarillo (yes
folks, where there used to by a psychiatric hospital - now it's a
university - hmmm, maybe not much difference :-) ).
My blog is mostly about raising teenagers (or I should say the
humorous side of raising teenagers) http://turtlemama50.blogspot.com.
I also enjoy photography but don't have ones of Camarillo (which is
strange since I take thousands of photos). Let's just say that this
area is on the west coast and is more chaperral country than anything
else. We have lots of farms in the surrounding areas and strawberries
are fantastic here. My photos can be found: http://picasaweb.google.com/turtle2x2 (copyright reserved).

What a fabulous idea! I'm from South Africa - my favourite place in
the world. We have sunny skies most of the year and pretty mild
winters. We have the mountains and the sea not too far from one
another and the people are friendly and vibrant like nowhere else I've
ever been. I have provided some links below of areas in my
province...

promoting South Africa: http://www1.southafrica.net/Cultures/sv-SE/consumer.southafrica.net/D...

Hi I'm from Malaysia. I am starting (actually rebranding) my blog at
peteryew.blogspot.com to be a blog promoting my country. I hope to add
lots more contents and opinions to make it an interesting place to
visit.

I hail from Cheyenne, Oklahoma, probably the most rural point in
America or at least the southwest. That is one of the vocal points of
my blog http://mommalittle.com. It's a flat jungle out here.

I'm from the fine city of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. My city
is the provincial capital, and as such all the provincial ministries
are located here as well as the provincial Legislature. We are a
fairly old city, started back as a Hudson's Bay trading fort, back
when Vancouver Island was a separate colony from mainland British
Columbia. There are quite a few historical areas of interest to visit.
Not to mention we're right on the ocean (although it's unfortunately
too cold to swim in). Victoria is a great city all in all.

Hahaha. City? I'm from Torrington, Wyoming. About 81 miles north of
the capital Cheyenne. Although I don't enjoy Torrington, one good
aspect is how many lifelong, close friends I have developed.

I live on the outskirts of Fort Worth, Texas. I've been here for just
about ever.
Out of my 16 years I've been there for 13. I can pretty much say
that's forever for me.

Thanks a bunch for the responses so far- it has been great to see all
of the different places that we come from. I made a Google Map that
has each of our locations on it, so please check it out! I'll be
updating it every now and then as this thread grows.
So once again, thanks for the replies, and happy blogging!
I was born in connecticut and have lived here my entire life. It's a
pretty cool place but it's fricken expensive.
I made a website all about helping people with their computer
problems. I help people find what kind of computer is best for them, I
go into building a gaming computer, I even help people with making
their own website and promoting it.

I'm in Portland, OR...and all of my photos are on my computer at home
(and we have no Internets at home, as we just bought a house and are
too poor to get good Internet, and all of my neighbors are smart
enough not to have an open Wi-Fi connection). But I'm sure you can
Google Image Portland- it's wonderful.
