What do you do when you give someone the authority to exercise your power on your behalf and he instead abuses it by exercising it on his behalf and neglecting to exercise it on your behalf. I say strip him of that authority. What do you say?

"S" is his middle name; whether it ought to have a period after it is still a matter of dispute. His initial position was no period, but he was not altogether consistent on that thereafter, and most official uses of his name use the period. I do not, because it is not an abbreviation of a name, it is the name.
