A Deltona man became the fifth motorcyclist reported dying as a result
of a crash in Volusia County during Bike Week, according to the Florida
Highway Patrol.

Henry Gordon Johnson, 67, died at Orlando Regional Medical Center on
Tuesday from injuries suffered when he lost control of his motorcycle on
Enterprise Osteen Road near Ledford Road.

In a report released Wednesday, FHP spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes said
Johnson was riding east Sunday afternoon when he went into a curve and
lost control. His motorcycle left the road and he crashed.

Johnson was not wearing a helmet, Montes said.
